Part identification begins with the source system, not with a generic component name. Words such as platform, caster, brace, outrigger, leg, guardrail, or coupler describe broad categories. Identifying a component
Prepare clear photographs of the entire component, connection points, labels, markings, and the surrounding system. Record any known purchase history, source-system name, and verified manual reference. Customer-supplied measurements may help describe a part, but measurements and appearance do not prove compatibility.
Explain the replacement purpose and quantity. State whether the original component is damaged, missing, or being matched to an existing system. Do not install or combine a proposed replacement until its identity and compatibility have been confirmed through appropriate documentation and review.
