This Privacy Policy applies when a visitor browses UprightScaffold.com, requests a scaffold quote, asks for replacement-part compatibility assistance, prepares an aviation or custom-access inquiry, contacts us, or otherwise communicates with Upright Scaffold through the website. It describes the categories of information involved, the purposes for which information may be used, and the choices that may be available under applicable law.
Website forms transmit validated inquiry information to a Cloudflare Pages Function after a successful Cloudflare Turnstile security check. The function uses Resend to deliver the inquiry to Upright Scaffold. Public file uploads are currently disabled because secure file storage is not configured. The quote basket remains stored locally in the visitor’s browser until it is cleared. This policy must be reassessed before analytics, advertising, customer-management, payment, or public file-storage services are enabled.
2. Information provided directly
Depending on the inquiry, we may request a name, company name, email address, phone number, billing or delivery information, shipping ZIP code, product name, part number, scaffold brand and model, quantity, project specifications, dimensions, required date, purchase or rental interest, and communications or support history. Compatibility inquiries may include photographs of existing components, labels, connection points, packaging, damage, or delivery documents.
Custom-access and aviation inquiries may include facility information, aircraft type or variant, maintenance task, work area, access constraints, hangar or entry dimensions, drawings, photographs, and other project information voluntarily supplied by the customer. Submitters must be authorized to provide this material. Payment information would be handled only through an approved payment process if one is implemented; the current website does not collect payment.
3. Information collected automatically
Web hosting and security infrastructure may process an IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages requested, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and request or security logs. Exact hosting-log fields, access, and retention depend on provider configuration and operational needs.
The application currently does not include analytics, advertising pixels, embedded marketing services, or application-set cookies. It stores quote-basket selections in browser localStorage under the key upright-scaffold-quote-basket-v1. The storage may contain product or part identifiers, quantities, request mode, configuration text, source page, and notes until the visitor clears the basket or browser storage.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries; prepare, revise, and administer quotes; identify products; evaluate compatibility questions; process accepted orders; arrange packaging, freight, delivery, or pickup; provide customer service; maintain warranty and claims records; improve website operation; detect fraud or misuse; secure systems; comply with legal obligations; maintain accounting and business records; and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
An inquiry, photograph, or dimension does not constitute engineering approval, a compatibility determination, or acceptance of an order. Technical and commercial decisions require the applicable written review.
6. Retention and security
Records are retained only as reasonably needed for quote administration, orders, warranty matters, claims, accounting, safety-related records, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention, taking account of contractual and legal requirements. Different records may require different retention periods.
Upright Scaffold uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and systems involved. No internet transmission, website, storage system, or security measure can be guaranteed completely secure. Visitors should use the approved contact channel if they believe information has been submitted improperly or an account or communication has been compromised.
7. Choices and privacy requests
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, or certain uses of personal information, as well as the right to opt out of marketing communications. A request may require reasonable identity verification and may be limited by exceptions for legal compliance, transaction records, security, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

This policy does not represent that Upright Scaffold is subject to that law or that every listed right applies to every visitor. Quote-basket data can be removed using the site’s basket control or browser storage settings.

The website and scaffold products are intended for adult and business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly design website forms to collect personal information from children.
External manufacturer, carrier, document, or other third-party websites operate under their own privacy practices. Upright Scaffold is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of an external destination merely because the website links to it.

We may update this policy as practices, services, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted at this URL and identified by its Last Updated date. Material operational changes should be reflected before the related technology or process is enabled.
