1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small data files that a website or service may store through a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, analytics identifiers, and storage used by embedded content. They can support essential operation, security, preferences, measurement, functionality, or advertising.
The actual technology in use matters more than a generic list. Upright Scaffold does not claim to use a cookie category when the audited application does not contain that technology.
2. Current website storage inventory
The application audit found no application-set browser cookies, analytics platform, advertising or marketing pixel, embedded media tracker, CAPTCHA service, or consent-management platform. Hosting infrastructure may process request and security logs, but no verified hosting cookie name or duration is available for publication.
The quote basket uses first-party localStorage under the key upright-scaffold-quote-basket-v1. Its purpose is to retain selected products and parts, quantities, request mode, configuration text, source page, and notes on the visitor’s device. It persists until the visitor clears the basket or browser storage. It is functional storage requested by using the basket and is not used for advertising.
3. Technology categories
Strictly necessary or security storage supports operation and protection; none is currently set by the application. Preference storage remembers user choices; the quote basket is the only current functional local storage. Analytics storage measures use; none was found. Functional third-party storage supports embedded services; none was found. Advertising or marketing storage supports targeting or campaign measurement; none was found.
If a production form-security tool, analytics provider, embedded service, advertising technology, or consent platform is added, the inventory and consent analysis must be updated before or with deployment. Cookie names, providers, purposes, duration, and policy links must be based on the configured service rather than invented.
4. Managing browser storage and consent
Visitors can clear quote-basket storage using the basket controls or browser site-data settings. Browsers also allow users to block or delete cookies and local storage, although doing so may prevent the basket or other requested functionality from persisting.
Because the current application audit found no nonessential cookies, an accept-all or reject-nonessential banner is not implemented. If nonessential technology is introduced, the site should provide appropriate accept, reject, customize, and withdrawal controls and a persistent settings link.
5. Do Not Track and preference signals
The current application does not perform cross-site advertising tracking and does not implement special behavior for the browser Do Not Track setting or Global Privacy Control. This statement does not claim support for a signal that has not been implemented and tested. Applicable legal obligations must be reassessed if tracking practices change.
6. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when browser storage, hosting, security, forms, analytics, or embedded services change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version. Questions about storage or privacy practices may be submitted through the contact process below.
