1. Shipping methods
Standard scaffold orders are typically shipped via less-than-truckload (LTL) freight. Dedicated truck service is available depending on order size and is generally at the customer's expense.
2. Freight quotes and required information
Freight quotes are available upon customer request. To provide an accurate freight quote, the customer must supply the delivery address, city, state, ZIP code, and whether the delivery location is a commercial or residential building.
3. Unloading responsibility
The customer must provide a forklift, loading dock, or personnel capable of unloading the shipment at the time of delivery. If the delivery location cannot accommodate standard unloading, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for residential delivery and liftgate service.
4. Freight damage and shortages
Any freight damage or shortages must be noted on the Bill of Lading (B.O.L.) at the time of delivery. The customer must contact Upright Scaffold promptly with photos of the damage or shortage to begin a claim.
5. International shipments
International shipments are at the customer's expense and must be paid in full before the shipment is picked up by the carrier.
6. Lead times
Lead times vary by carrier and are not guaranteed. Any dates provided are estimates only and may be affected by carrier scheduling, capacity, weather, or other factors outside Upright Scaffold's control.
