Upright Scaffold can coordinate shipping to destinations around the world. Availability, freight method, export documentation, customs requirements, duties, taxes, local delivery, unloading, and destination restrictions depend on the product and destination.
Shipment planning
Match the freight method to the verified order
Packaging and transport depend on exact products, quantities, dimensions, destination, carrier requirements, and receiving conditions. A product name alone is not enough to determine a shipping method.
Palletized and LTL freight
Frames, braces, platforms, castors, and system components may require palletized less-than-truckload freight. Pallet dimensions, stack protection, handling, accessorial services, and delivery site must be quoted.
Larger and oversized loads
Complete systems, long platforms, large-area access equipment, or custom assemblies may require dedicated space, full truckload review, special handling, or another project-specific freight plan.
Export packaging
International shipments may require packaging suited to routing, transfers, storage, inspection, and destination requirements. Crating, treatment, marking, or other preparation is included only when stated in writing.

International requests should identify the country, complete delivery destination, consignee, commercial or project context, required products, quantities, requested timing, and known broker or freight-forwarder arrangements.
Commercial invoices, packing lists, commodity descriptions, country-of-origin information when verified, customs documentation, brokerage, duties, taxes, ports, airports, and local delivery requirements vary. Incoterms or responsibility for freight, clearance, duties, taxes, and delivery apply only when confirmed in the written quote or order documents.

Destination readiness
Plan access, delivery services, and unloading before dispatch
Site and vehicle access
Provide street, gate, turning, height, weight, appointment, security, construction-site, residential, limited-access, and operating-hour constraints. A carrier must be able to reach an authorized delivery point.
Dock, liftgate, and forklift
State whether the site has a suitable dock, forklift, pallet jack, crane, or other unloading equipment. Liftgate, inside delivery, appointment, notification, or other services are not assumed unless quoted.
Authorized receiving contact
Provide a reachable contact who understands the shipment, receiving hours, equipment, inspection responsibilities, and where the carrier should report. Delivery cannot resolve unreported site restrictions.
Freight condition
Inspect and document the shipment
Compare the received handling units and visible condition with the delivery documents before signing when practical. Record visible damage, shortage, broken wrapping, crushed packaging, exposed components, or other exceptions on the carrier receipt. Take clear photographs and retain packaging and labels.
Concealed damage may become apparent only after unpacking. Preserve evidence and notify Upright Scaffold promptly. Carrier deadlines, inspection rights, mitigation duties, and claim requirements vary; the applicable written shipping and claims terms govern.
