1. Quote validity
Quotes provided by Upright Scaffold are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. After this period, pricing and product availability are subject to change and must be reconfirmed before an order is placed.
2. Standard equipment orders
Orders for standard scaffold equipment are confirmed once payment in full has been received. Equipment will be shipped or made available for will-call pickup only after payment has cleared.
3. Special or custom-designed scaffold orders
Special-designed scaffold orders require signed drawing approval from the customer before manufacturing. Full payment is required before any custom or special order is manufactured or shipped. Because these items are built to the customer's specific approved design, special or custom scaffold orders are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once production has begun.
4. Returns and restocking
Standard scaffold equipment may be returned for a refund, less shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee. Special or custom-designed scaffolds are not eligible for return or refund.
The customer is responsible for all return freight costs. The customer is also responsible for damage to returned equipment resulting from inadequate packaging or shipping-related handling. Such damage may be deducted from the refund or may make the item ineligible for a refund.
5. Pricing and excluded costs
Quoted prices include only the items expressly listed. Freight, delivery, taxes, permits, and any other accessorial charges are excluded from the quoted price unless specifically stated. The customer is responsible for these additional costs unless otherwise noted in writing.
6. Lead times
Manufacturing and shipping dates provided in a quote are estimates only. Actual timelines may vary due to material availability, production scheduling, carrier conditions, weather, or other circumstances outside Upright Scaffold's reasonable control.
7. Customer responsibility for safe use and installation
The customer is responsible for the safe use and proper installation of the scaffold after purchase. Before installation and use, the customer should review applicable local and state requirements and, where applicable, OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926, Subpart L.
